I use four things to determine the costs. Size of the carving, type of wood that is used, type of finish and the amount of detail in the carving it self. So if you want something special keep those things in mind when determining what you would like and what you will spend. I require half of the price up front before I start carving and the other half WHEN YOUR SATISFIED WITH IT.
